Missing You

Hi Mom,  it’s been 2 years since you’ve been gone, and 10 years since the Alzheimers started kicking  in, but I really felt you today.  I mean, you’re always close, always in my mind, but today I forgot for a moment that you were gone.  And when I remembered, I told you the story anyway.

You see, there’s this thing I on Facebook I thought you would think is funny. I know you were never into technology, so how weird is it that I think you’d like Facebook?  Anyway, it’s a benefit thing that involves a double entendre that could be sexy, and it’s funny. I can picture you laughing at it.  You know, you were always laughing, even when you were sad.

Anyway, that’s all. Can’t wait to see you again.  Love,

gina

Alzheimer’s took my grandma and unless you’ve been around someone you love suffering from this you really have no idea how much it affects you too. Hopefully there’s a cure for this one day.

Agreed! I certainly do hope they find a cure. Thanks, Angie.
