Bound and determined to keep my patience today, and thus I’ll count my blessings:
- After letting Zoe go naked after changing her diaper, she put on her own pullup by herself. A FIRST.
- After Amelia cut her own hair with the safety scissors 6 days before school photo day, I realized we will have something to laugh at when we look back on grade two.
- I survived my drive to the bank and now can put on jammies.

Love your attitude of gratitude – it can be so hard sometimes, can’t it? I am having my own parenting ability crisis, so I can relate.
On the hair cut thing, I just had to laugh. I have 11 yo twins and every single grade school picture of one of them has some sort of wound/cut/bump on his face. Good grief. We look back through them in order and even he laughs about it!
Have a great day!

Thanks Connie! It’s been really hard to keep this attitude though…have to remind myself multiple times per day.
