You may have heard by now that Jenny McCarthy will be on “The View” as a host, and a ton of hue and cry when up after the announcement on Tuesday. I was going to talk about McCarthy, whose work on autism is the ONLY thing I like about her, but then I realized that’s not the problem here.
The real issue is that you, the American public, has been misdirected once again. As a host on a popular TV show that’s changed hosts a number of times in the last few years, sure, McCarthy will have more exposure, but it’s not like she has a key position where she is affecting policy for the rest of us.
So if you are worried about her new position on the View and the power she’ll wield with it, please tell me that you’re also concerned about some of these far more influential job holders – the people who actually DO affect policies and make decisions that change the outcome of your future:
Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee: IACC
- IACC chair Tom Insel- his brother is Richard Insel, was part of the team that developed the Hib vaccine, which contained thimerosal. and co-founder and director of Praxis Biologics, and made millions off the introduction of the drug. Tom is also Director of the National Institute of Mental Health, which supposedly researches causes of autism. How do you think he would respond to the idea of studies researching a link between his brother’s vaccine and autism? In fact, Insel has gone so far as to question the rise in autism. Now, why do you think he would do that? And I know you’re going to counter that vaccine safety in any and all cases has been ruled out, but you know how I feel about the words “peer reviewed” (just like cigarettes!), the suspect nature of the money behind the studies and the lack of studies on the effects of combination shots. In fact, no one in this organization at all supports any kind of clinical research into autism whatsoever. I’m honestly not sure what this organization actually does or of a single improvement, they’ve spearheaded for people with autism.
Center for Disease Control
- Julie Gerberding, Dr., Former CDC Director. Best known by the biomed community by answering questions allegedly without all the facts. She left that position in 2009 and IMMEDIATELY went to head up Merck’s vaccine division. She helped aggressively push for the Gardasil vaccine, one that was released far before the traditional period of safety testing of vaccines. The only good thing I can say about Gerberding is that she’s no longer head, but with the massive reorganization that went on under her supervision, the damage is probably already done. Watch her speak with Sanjay Gupta, an interviewed sprinkled with lies and misdirection:
- “Well, she’s no longer there!” True, but she is an “expert” and has JUST presented to the IACC this week…
That’s what I’ve got for now, but there’s also lots of suspicion on the EPA (more hopeful now), HHS, and more, but when I google these things, I get zero journalism and 100% biased editorial. People are no longer possibly corrupt or their actions are questionable, it’s simply that they are monsters who bring down society.
Which brings me back to Jenny McCarthy. The worst article about her called her a “homicidal maniac”, and that right there should be a red flag to you. While it’s “fun” to read this stuff, and “gratifying” to rile up our anger over a celebrity, you should know that I could not find a single article that mentions the anti-vax community WITHOUT considerable detractions like “batshit”, “whackjobs”, “lunatics” – unless it came from the actual community. When you see comprehensive, non-objective articles and nothing else on a matter, you should be suspicious. The word “agenda” might pass through your mind, for example. And while no one likes to be wrong or thinks they are being led astray on the things they care about, we should keep in mind all the times it’s been proven that big dollars and press control has hidden rampant corruption – and it can happen to anyone. (Phillip Morris. Nixon. Viet Nam. Just a few big ones.)
If you hate that Jenny McCarthy’s on The View, fine, but the real question is, are you looking at the right person, or distracted from the real corruption that’s going on?
I HAD to update and add this video that had me laughing and disgruntled. Not only that, but I caught a blogger today say in a post that McCarthy was “appointed” to The View. Paranoid much??
Watch as NVIC’s Barbara Loe Fisher decimates the sexism in the anti-McCarthy backlash:

Great post.
This is not the first and not the last. We are always distracted by the lure of the news of socialites, addictive dramas, Hollywood and entertainment news, while the real life issues like education, health, economics and employment type of stuff go unnoticed. That’s how the society functions now. It is fed by mainstream media focusing on irrelevant drama and so that it doesn’t have to think about important stuff.

Thank you and you’re right! And it’s an American thing…I once recently saw a comparison of our nightly news vs. BBC news. Holy cow, was I embarrassed. I don’t know how or when media became the opiate of the masses, but it’s sad.
