InVitalShare Allergy App: Helping Your Team Track Your Child’s Allergies #FoodAllergy

This was a crazy school year – what I’m calling, the year of food. I love Zoe’s teacher but she was a BIG proponent of snacking all day. And while I totally believe that everyone should eat as they see fit, lots of kids snacking all day was tough on my girl and my budget. How Does InVitalShare Work?

First, the parent of a child with a special care need, in this case a food allergy, signs up and creates a profile for their child. This profile includes basic information like their name, age, height, and weight. The parent then enters details regarding their child’s care needs such as:

• Allergies
• Triggers
• Favorite foods and snacks that they can safely eat
• Dangerous foods that should be avoided
• Restaurants and menu items that are ok to order
• Special care instructions on what to do if a problem should occur
• Emergency contacts that can be called in the event of an emergency.

The items listed above are just examples of the types of lists that can be created. A user has the ability to create as many lists as they want, name them accordingly, and enter any type of information within that list. InVitalShare is completely flexible and allows you to share ANY type if information with ANYONE.

Can you imagine how awesome that is? What a timesaver? Simply give an invitation to the InVitalShare allergy app to your therapists, your child’s one-on-one, or even send it out to that family member who is hosting the holidays!

Is It Safe?

Only members you invite will share the information, and they can only access what you want. Caregivers receive your invitation by email and can instantly view the details through a mobile app or the inVitalShare website. Once the caregivers have this information, it’s always available and accessible wherever they are. Users of the inVitalShare mobile apps, which will be available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, also have secure access to the information even if an internet connection isn’t available.

Cost Effective

Many parents raising kids on special diets can’t afford an expensive app. The developers of InVitalShare wants their product to be safe and secure, easy to use and cost effective for parents. It will be a subscription service, under $5 a month for parents. Caregivers then access this data free of charge. Are you interested in this kind of an allergy app? How Can InVitalShare Start?

The team at InVitalShare needs your help to get started. If you can’t do that, you can still help by sharing this post or their page on your social media streams or writing a blog post to share to the world.
