This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UnitedHealthcare. All opinions are my own.
Have you had some trouble getting healthy this year already? I sure have! These snow days up here in the Northeast/Midlantic don’t help but spring is just around the corner…at least I hope so. For me, I joined a fitness encouragement group on Facebook and my husband and I are going to be checking out our local gym, just as soon as it stops snowing!
But is it enough? I always find I get stuck and my best intentions fall to the wayside. To help you out, UnitedHealthcare has created a campaign to help you get motivated. Every month, “We Dare You to Share” challenges you to take 3 daring actions towards better health. Share your dares fora a chance to win some awesome grand prizes, like:
-
a Cast Iron French Oven (how sweet is this?? Yep, I’m a foodie, lol)
-
an iPad/Tablet/Ereader
-
a $400 Amazon gift card
This March, dares include sharing a photo of your healthy breakfast, taking a nutrition quiz and sharing your opinion about a food label video. Not only is this a great way to establish a new healthy routine for yourself, the video is a great way to get started learning about Nutrition Facts that you see on your groceries. These dares are easy. Here’s a photo of my bulletproof homemade latte, fresh off my French press. A simple share like that can win you a prize not to mention encourage you!
Submit each challenge for a chance at winning this month’s grand prize (for March, it’s a $400 pre-paid gift card) or weekly prizes of $25 pre-paid gift card. Check out the website now. And don’t forget to check back every month to take the new challenges that include eating healthier and practicing healthy activities. It’s not too late to get healthy this year and “We Dare You To Share” can get you started.
As I shared earlier in the year, UnitedHealthcare can help with resources, tips and information that can even make the quite-overwhelming Affordable Care Act. I’m happy to say my new healthcare plan allowed me to see go right to a specialist about an issue that had made me nervous. It’s all good, just a wee bit more testing but nothing out of the normal so far!

What a fun idea to share.. I share my breackfast all the time on social media. When can you make me you awesome latte. Sounds devine.

The latte is easy! Just put your piping hot coffee with milk or creamer, sugar and what you like (I use cinnamon and sometimes cocoa powder), along with a 1/2 teaspoon of the supplement and 1 teaspoon coconut oil. I put on pulse for like 20 seconds and viola! Latte 🙂

I should share my breakfasts more but it’s my quiet time with God. No electronics other than YouTube worship music LOL, because social media before your coffee fix can really ruin your day.
