Natural Baby Shampoo & Bath Products

When my daughter was born, I didn’t even think there were options to the tried and true big name brands for baby care products. Years later, I was horrified to learn how toxic they were – full of parabens and other dangerous chemicals that can cause diseases or cancers, negative behaviors in kids and put uber-sensitive children, like my girls, over the edge. WEre there any good natural baby shampoo and bath products?

I don’t like to play roulette with their brain chemistry or central nervous system so I take a long time to find products that toxin-free.

Often, though, those products are barely or not at all effective. My kids have fine hair that tangles easily and they need solutions that can help them stay clean, smooth and cared for without the nasty chemicals.

Natural Baby Shampoo & Bath Products You Can Trust

baby mantraToday we are lucky enough to have lots of choices for natural baby shampoo, conditioner, bath products and skin solutions. Baby Mantra is one of those products. Recommended by Healthy Child Healthy World, Baby Mantra’s earth-friendly range of extremely gentle personal care products for children (newborn to 8 years old) are made with all-natural skincare ingredients.

Look below for where to buy these products.

Baby Mantra products, like their natural baby shampoo, have been certified by the Natural Products Association (NPA), are gluten-free, allergy-tested and cruelty-free. They are also vegan, which is good news for moms like me, trying to keep these products out of our kid’s hair. Some of their products are even vegan and the only one that contains soy is the massaging oil.

Ways To Use Baby Mantra

That said, I’m going to try that one soon! The calming massage oil is good for sensitive skin and moisturizes, helping to soothe rashes and eczema. For this one, though, it’s the scent that does it for me. Who wouldn’t want a massage with this?

I also love the hair care products. The shampoos double as bubble bath or wash and the conditioner is a detangler. I couldn’t wait to for bath day to try it on the kids, and I’m telling you, I love how this product made my hair shiny and smooth! You cannot flat iron with it (that’s how we dry our girls’ hair), but it’s perfect for blow drying.

Even if you don’t have a baby, you won’t want to miss out on the diaper rash ointment. It glides on smooth, like a firm oil rather than a cream, and is recommended for chafed, cracked, chapped or wind-burned skin and lips. Again this product is very soothing.

I look for products that are gentle on my daughters skin. She is prone to eczema (and is really bad in the winter). So I look for products that will provide moisture to her skin, without being harmful to her.

The steps I take for a clean and healthy skincare regime, was to first cut out all beauty products that had chemicals in it, and were not environmentally friendly. I replaced most items with Castile soap which I use for body, hands and hair. It helps nourish the skin. I am most excited for this giveaway to have the chance to win the BABY MANTRA NATURAL BABY SHAMPOO & PRODUCTS. I love that it is gluten free, cruelty free, toxin free baby care. Good luck all.
