This year was far too busy for me to attend any conferences so far, and that’s why I’m excited for this fall! Moms Meet has invited me to attend the WOW Summit and stay in their resort, the beautiful Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland, on October 7th and 8th, 2016. This two day conference is perfect for moms who are embracing the organic life imperfectly like me!
What’s so great about WOW Summit? Well here’s a list of what I’m looking forward to:
Connect With Moms Like You
When you don’t go to conferences for a long time, you get a little stale as a blogger. Frankly, I often feel out of touch, so getting together and reconnecting at a blogger conference is a good way to stay on top of your blog. But that’s not all! Moms Meet is all about clean living and so you’ll be in good company with moms who are like-minded about buying cleaner foods and products for their families. I am SO excited to hang out with other moms who love clean brands and who blog!
Meet Some Awesome Brands In Your Niche
You’ll have the chance to meet and greet their sponsors, who include Solgar (makes high quality supplements including probiotic chocolate bars…sign me up!) and Mary’s Gone Crackers (gluten free AND non-GMO!). National Geographic Kids and Tasty Bite are newer brands I’m looking forward to meet, but old favorites will be there too, like So Delicious and Garden of Life. Check out all the sponsors that you can feel good about working with! You’ll also walk away with an awesome goody bag worth $100 from the WOW Summit sponsors.
Enjoy a Mom-Friendly Conference
The Blogger Pass schedule is only two days, starting at 1PM on Friday, which means you can stay for one night and still have Sunday for your family. After the blogger workshops and dinner, kick back on Friday night with “Comedy & Cocktails” – worth it for that alone! Saturday is *just* for Moms so you can feel empowered! Not only that, but you can choose other options for a shorter event, if you need it.
Dan R. Morris of Blogging Concentrated and Rachel Martin of Blogging Concentrated and Finding Joy, as well as Gloria Pan and Dr. Drew Ramsey. Dan and Rachel are AMAZING presenters. I heard them speak on different topics last year at iRetreat. Trust me, you will learn a lot and be highly entertained! A few blogger topics inlcude gaining media credibility, pitching brands, Facebook marketing and more. On Saturday, Dr. Ramsey speaks on a topic I’m passionate about, “Healthy Moms Grow Happier Kids”, and I’m also thrilled that Lenore Skenazy of Free Range Kids will be speaking too! Meet more of the speakers.
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is simply stunning. It has a beautiful indoor pool, fitness center, bar & restaurants and shopping and is right next to National Harbor. As my husband said, “There’s a ton to do there!” This is Marriott, so you can earn rewards if you are part of their program. And the rooms are gorgeous! Reserve by September 5th to get the discounted room rate of $169/night. Book through the Moms Meet link or call 877-491-0468 and reference Moms Meet WOW Summit to get the group rate. The hotel also has shuttle service from the closest airports.
Affordable – and You Can Get a Discount!
WOW Summit is one of the more affordable blogger events too! Three pricing options are available – $49 for Saturday only (general admission), $99 for Friday evening and Saturday events (VIP pass), or $149 for the blogger pass which includes all day Friday and Saturday including “Speed Networking” event. My readers, get an even bigger discount! Simply use promo code EMB15 to get 15% off the price, making your Blogger pass around $100! All attendees get a T-shirt, the goody bag, raffle tickets for prizes, but VIP and Blogger get a few extra perks. Don’t wait – register now!
Ok, so I know you want MORE than a weekend away from the kiddos, a fun night out with other moms and grown up conversation on how to build your blog. Well, what about the chance to win a free ticket! I’m so delighted to have partnered with Moms Meet to offer one lucky winner up to TWO free tickets – any level – for you and a friend?
