Amelia loves basketball. We’re note sure why – that is one major sport our family doesn’t regularly watch – but I did recently find out that her best friend LOVES basketball and has the skills, so that’s a big hint! So think it’s really cool that a summer clinic is going down, from the Harlem Globetrotters. Yes, I didn’t know the organization was still around either! How cool is that?
Check out the release details for this really fun opportunity:
For the first time, the Harlem Globetrotters are conducting summer skills clinics to bring boys and girls ages 6-14 behind the curtain to see the Globetrotters’ electrifying skills and tricks, while also having fun staying active.
Each participant receives:
- A free ticket voucher (valued up to $40) to see the Globetrotters during their 2013 World Tour
- Autographs and photos with the stars!
- 3-day trial pass to 24 Hour Fitness
- San Francisco
- New Jersey
- Los Angeles
- St Louis
- Las Vegas
Kids ages 6 to 14 are eligible to participate in this 3-hour program, with the actual stars participating in coaching and activities. If your child is interested in learning basketball from the best, you can save $10 on registration by entering the Coupon Code USFAMILY on the cart page after completing your registration or mention the code when calling 1-800-641-HOOP (4667). Learn more about the clinic and register here!
Personally, I wish we lived near those cities, because I’d send Amelia in. She’d LOVE it, and if you live near one of those cities, your child can participate too.
Disclosure: This post written in exchange fro Harlem Globetrotter tickets. Which I’m excited about because I think it’s the perfect way to introduce Amelia to real, live basketball games, especially since I know diddly about the sport. And of course, all views expressed are my own.
